Today I had to run to the store for a couple of things. While there, I remembered Doofie needed litter. “We” like Fresh Step, and noticed today that they’re offering a new “flavor,” Mountain Forest. I like the regular clumping scoopable kind mostly because I use the 28LB white buckets for everything! Everyone knows I live with a cat with and army of buckets everywhere! This new stuff came packaged in a box with a scratch & sniff label, so naturally there I am standing in the store with my nose plastered up next to the box taking in a big whiff to decide if Doofie would find it suitable - almost as good has having my own scratching post! Naturally, what really sold me was the cute kitty on the front of the box looking lovingly into my eyes – a real good selling tool. Well, it worked! Doofie has an electric Littermaid litter box so we’ll have to wait a couple of days to test her new fresh-smelling litter.
