Not All Cat Trees Are Alike!
So what’s the difference between a cat gym, cat tree & cat tower? I have no idea! I’ve decided that in truth they’re all about the same. But, for the sake of order … (I love to organize!!), I’ve categorized as follows:
Cat Gym: Typically taller, also with multi-level areas for play activity. Frequently includes spaces for hiding. Definitely includes toy and or scratch area.
Tower: Definitely tall as name implies. Prominent feature is a top cat perch to provide “lofty” sleeping accommodations.
Cat Tree: Cat furniture is generally medium to tall with multi-level perches for landing, climbing, peering & sleeping. Often includes sisal scratching surface.
